Lac La Belle

Early Spring late afternoon on Lac La Belle


Lac La Belle is located in the southwestern part of the township. The majority of the lake is in the Town of Oconomowoc, but the City of Oconomowoc and the Village of Lac La Belle also has jurisdiction over parts of the lake. The lake is 1164 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 45 feet. The mean depth is 11 feet. Fish species include Northern Pike, Walleye, LM Bass, SM Bass, and Panfish.

Boats can be launched from the City of Oconomowoc launch at City Beach at 324 W. Wisconsin Av. Note:  There is a limit of 40 launches per day.

Some things to remember on Lac La Belle:

Speed limit from sunset to sunrise the following day is 10 mph.
